After a two year run in the Broadway musical Dance With Me, and appearances in many Off - Broadway productions, Deborah Massa made the decision to focus on her first love - singing. Throughout her vocal career, she has appeared in numerous venues, from the New York studio recording scene and the Atlantic City Casinos, to the Philadelphia and New Jersey club circuit. Her love for jazz has spawned collaborations with many talented musicians, all of whom praise her gift of precise intonation, and pureness of tone. Her love for the classic, traditional jazz form is evident, as is her lyrical interpretation of jazz standards.

Countdown to Ecstasy--the new Steely Dan tribute project with close friend and band leader Glenn Marrazzo and pianist Pat Robinson--played to a sold out crowd last Friday night at Swede's Inn! Pianist Lou Walinsky is gathering a group of talented jazz musicians, all of whom will be performing with me at private functions in the Philadelphia area.

Synergy Jazz Project continues.....We recently celebrated our debut at the historic Nassau Club in Princeton. This fall, Don Ober, Vince Gilligo and my friend Paul Deck will be accompanying me regularly at the Revere in Ewing!

I recently crossed musical paths with gifted jazz drummer Paul Albrecht and legendary saxophonist Pete Souders (Yes--That Pete Souders, former owner of Ortlieb's). It was great to be in the rehearsal studio with these fine gentlemen of jazz.

Pianist Rocco Notte and I are planning a duo collaboration.
